On behalf of Mile High Disc Golf Club of Colorado, club president John Bird presented fund raising checks with a combined total of $6397 to Kathy Underhill of Arvada Food Bank and Gordon Reusink, Director of Arvada Parks, Golf and Hospitality following the 2007 Ice Bowl at Bird’s Nest and Winter Warrior fund raising events. Bird has acted as the Mile High Ice Bowl event director for the past 4 years.
The goal of the Ice Bowl event is to raise funds for local food banks and community organizations.
